We are in the middle of a social revolution, even greater in impact than the Industrial revolution.
The internet, and explosion of information it has generated, is empowering the customer unlike anything that has gone before. It has also created a truly global economy.
The 21st century is the age of the customer: satisfied customers aren’t enough!
On top of this, the customer, previously disempowered by misleading adverts and clever marketing, will become ever more demanding and unforgiving.
‘Satisfied’ customers are no longer good enough: cutting edge service is winning business globally at an astonishing pace, and ‘traditional’ businesses are becoming extinct almost overnight. In order to prosper in the future, an organisation’s service must be ‘great’, because, if not, it’ll be ‘poor’.
